and this is where a report to mod for spam would come in handy.
It would always get labelled spam on a forum of the type that helped people for essentially no return, on the technical forum that is my home we don’t allow posts like this.
Here’s a different take on the matter why not offer one or two themes for free download, BP is starved of finished themes for members, start a group for themes? people may be more inclined to accept the promotion of the paid for offerings then? or simply have a ‘Donate’ button like the plugin authors on the site who spend anywhere from 6 hours to possibly ten times that coding essential plugins for the community and for free accept for the optional donations people may make.
you want to sell themes?
give us a sample delete this spam!!!
@0815 contact me via msn.
it’ll just cost about 30 $ not more I need the money for a comming project (server costs,advertisement….). So it’s only for a short time.
It’s hard to find a job I’m only 17 lol.
17? what’s your experience in frontend coding? coding stable layouts takes some skill and experience especially for dynamic apps such as WP/BP
Do you know how most freelance coders break into the business? working for free it’s how they build up their portfolio of work to show to clients.
@ferhat why i should you contact via msn?
you worte here because you want sell themes why now msn?
send an link where we can see the themes in action maybe the i would contact you via msn.
Trying to get your e-mail adres or just a sloppy topic from someone who doesn’t know marketing.
Dude, your theme has to be working somewhere online for us to know that it actually works with BP and isn’t just a static HTML/CSS page. It looks cool, but you’ve got to show us something that’s up and running.
I’m closing down this thread as you have the contact information of the OP if you are interested in their theme work.
You are going to have a difficult time selling your themes if you do not have an active website that demos your works for sale. Asking people to contact you via email so that you can then send them a theme once they’ve sent you money is always going to be treated with suspicion. You need to earn the trust of your potential clients first. Showing that you are serious about your work and supporting your potential clients after purchasing your themes is just one step toward earning their trust and their money.
Finally, as others have said within this thread, the BuddyPress.org community does not look favorably on those who only ask and do not give. When you have created a website that demonstrates your work, you should feel free to post a new thread with a link to your website. But please do not simply come here to paste overt, commercial messages.
it works with BP and its not just a static HTML/CSS page it’s a child theme made for bp.Sorry but I don’ have a website. My old Website (it was bp+wp) was suspended because of high traffic so I’m looking now for money to get a server and start everything again.
