We have a test site running but I would rather not give you the URL.
The page I cannot find is this one:
http://testbp.org/register
I use the standard buddypress theme and if I try to type /register it just takes me back to home page.
Any official word on WordPress 3 support or are they waiting for final release.

I am having the same issue. Im sure its something simple. Hmmm.
Thinks its just in General > Settings… check the box for Membership “Anyone can register”. That gave me the register page.
Either where elfwaves said or in WPMU it was under the WPMU options page. I’m not sure how they reconciled those 2 screens in WP 3.0.
On WP 3.0 MultiSite, it’s under Super Admin -> Options, scroll down to Registration Settings
Works fine.
