Can’t register user through front end

    Hi,

I have decided to allow users to register for my site to have extra features and I have installed BuddyPress as well.

However when I go to test the creation of a new user I go to the Register form and fill out the few fields and then click on ‘Complete Signup’ button but nothing happens and no users are created in the backend.

Is there something I am missing?

I have ticked the Anyone can register checkbox.

Do I need to add anything to the Register page?

    Any advice.

    Thanks

Click on wp-admin menu Users and click on BP’s Pending link on screen then activate the user you just created. https://codex.buddypress.org/administrator-guide/pending-users-admin-screen/

Here’s how regular member registration works: https://codex.buddypress.org/member-guide/registration/

Hi, I have the same issues:

    – the buddypress register page is not creating users, after submit it shows the register page again and the passwords are gone.

    – there are no users displayed in the backend

    – there are no pending users

i have followed all directions found online and on this forum, fresh install of wp with fresh install of bp, no other plugins active etc…

Should I use an older version of bp? Do I have to create manual pages as the default bp theme is not active anymore?
