Change Email-Adress of User

    Buddypress users can change their email-Adress in their settings.
    They will get a confirmation e-mail with a link, they have to confirm.
    That is in order to be sure, that the email-Adress is correct an reachable.

    But that only makes sense, when they will get the notification to their NEW email and not to their old email-Adress.
    I noticed that the conformation will be sent to the old address!!

    I’m guessing this is security related to stop account stealing. ie the person who owns the original email address has to confirm they wish to make the change.

    Ok, I understand that.
    But in that case the new email will not be verified.
    Could be a non valid email.
    Does that make sense?
    Or will the new email be verified too in a second step?
