    @admin9141

    hi
    I Have installed Buddy Press, and Theme Robojob with WP Job manager to create a job board with a forum.

    i created seeker2@mysourcing.fr as test candidate

    he first subcribed on the site on buddypress as a member and then decided to apply for a job and submit his resume in the candidate formular with WP Job Manager

    Now i go to Job Dashboard (employer) and I see that seeker2 my candidate has access and can post jobs !

    I checked in back-office and he is registrated as candidate.

    I have sent a ticket to Codethemes (My Theme), here is their answer :

    “Hi there,

    Seems like Buddy Press is creating conflict as WP Job manager will only register as the candidate which doesn’t provide any access to any administrative level.

    For this please consult Buddy Press”

    Anyone can help?

    I am not a programmer…

    @admin9141 I do not think WP Job Manager have any conflict with BuddyPress registration process.
    Any registration with BuddyPress will offer you the same role which you have set inside Setting >> General.

    I do not think assigning administrative level roles for open registration will be a good approach.

    You can set default role for new members from General >> Settings as a candidate. It should solve your issue.
