Customizing BuddyPress registration.php file?

Hey BuddyPress community,

I know this page explains about BuddyPress Theme Compatibility here: http://codex.buddypress.org/theme-compatibility/

But the bp-legacy folder doesn’t contain the BuddyPress registration.php or activation.php files inside of it since BuddyPress (1.7).

My question is, how can I copy over the registration.php and activation.php to my theme so I can customize it to suit my needs?

Did you check all directories under /bp-legacy/buddypress/ ? The template files do exist.
