Did the recent upgrade render some CSS and PHP files out-of-date?

I have had a few problems with the recent upgrade to BuddyPress 1.5.

I’m using a child theme of the bp-default theme, but since the update my site’s appearance has changed slightly. Columns widths were altered, the search bar was displaced, and the site title was scooted to the edge of the page.

I can fix these problems easily enough, but do I need to somehow update my child theme to be compatible with BP 1.5?

Also, I was using the file bp-custom.php to remove auto-links from my members’ profile pages. It doesn’t work anymore, though.

Does BP still support the removal of auto-links? And if so, how can I make the file work again?

Any suggestions or answers would be greatly appreciated.
