I have spent the last few hours searching these forums and as many corners of the Internet as possible for the answer to this question, but cannot find a satisfactory answer (the answers I have found are no longer valid for current versions).

I would like to remove the “Confirm Password” field on the registration page, so that new users only have to enter their chosen password once. How do I go about doing this?

Disclaimers:
I’ve heard all the arguments against doing this, and I would still like to do it, please.
I know how to hide the “Confirm Password” label, as well as the input field. I just need to know how to tell the form that only one instance of choosing a password is necessary.
