Disabling BuddyPress Registration?

Hi, so I was wondering if there was any way to not have the default buddypress registration page — http://yoursite.com/register, not http://yoursite.com/wp-register — is there any way to go back to wp-register?

put in bp-custom.php:

`remove_action( ‘wp’, ‘bp_core_screen_signup’, 3 );`

It is

remove_action( ‘init’, ‘bp_core_wpsignup_redirect’ );

Can’t get this to work – do I just copy/paste the line in bp-custom.php or do I need to have a function in there?

You add it to your theme’s functions.php file per https://buddypress.org/support/topic/disabling-bp-registration/
