Display Activity streams for user posts, allow subscription to stream from other users.. disable pos

Hello,

Currently when logged in and viewing your own profile, buddypress allows you to post updates to your activity stream. How can I disable this? I only want the stream to show blog posts and comment posts, but not show custom updates the user might put in.

Not sure, but it is probably done in the Buddypress menu.
Buddypress – General Settings – Disable activity stream commenting on blog and forum posts? YES
and/or
Buddypress – Component Setup – Activity Streams: Allow users to post activity updates and track all activity across the entire site. NO
