Do not send one email in buddypress 2.5

    I have one website of dating in wordpress, the wordpress is the version 4.5 and the buddypress version is 2.5 and this version do not send the email [{{{site.name}}}]{{friend.name}}accepted your friendship request and the rest of email yes is send, i make new website with this version and do not work, no work in my old site and in the new site, any people can help me? thank you.

    I have the same problem with the sending of emails for notifications even though they are turned on the user settings. There are no emails sent for the actions listed below;

    – Public messages using the @username feature
    – Private messages
    – Friend Requests
    – Follow notification

    @deraa you problem is another problem. This thread is about not sending exactly one email notification, the “accepted your friendship request” email notification.


    @lanvalencia     I have tested and I’ve experienced the same problem. The “accepted your friendship request” email notification is not sent.

    I can confirm, using BP 2.5.1, that the “accepted your friendship request” email is not sent.

    The ‘friendship requested’ email is sent.

    I’ve added a potential fix for this here:
    https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/attachment/ticket/6969/6969.01.patch

    Make the change to bp-core/classes/class-bp-email-recipient.php to fix this temporarily until BP 2.5.2 is released.
