Editing Language file error

    @modemlooper

    buddypress.po:7 field ‘Language-Team’ still has initial default value.

    I’ve never done a translation before but I wanted to change the word ‘group’ to something else.

    I followed the instructions in the documentation to a T but it’s not working right. Even though i can create the .mo file after opening it there is nothing in the file

    What are you using to create your custom translation file? The .mo file should contain something.

    Yeah it does now. I was using poedit and wasn’t thinking right I use find replace all on the word group but then realized it would work that way from the original pot. So I have to do each and every one manually. This blows when you just want to change a slug/ groups to something else. maybe groups is teams. Taking hours to go through the language file is ridiculous.

    Hi Modemlooper,
    your mentioned error is always showing up when I am working on my translations as well.
    Not sure what this error means and where it is coming form, but you can just ignore this error-message and it still works fine.

    The original .pot-file includes all the words and it should take you only a few minutes to translate the word Groups into Team….
