BuddyPress.org

Edubuzz.org has grown over the past few years as a blogging platform for learners in the school district of East Lothian, Scotland. There are 40 schools, and most schools now use the blogs for various purposes, including school, department and class web sites.

The site has now had BuddyPress added, with almost no trouble. There was one issue with our site being installed in a server subdirectory called /blogs, but that was easily resolved with advice from the Forum. Initial feedback has been very positive from staff and students. Adding the social features has created a powerful tool for supporting development of professional learning communities across the district.
