Elo ladder / games league support

    I have searched for quite some time, looking for a plugin which will allow me to provide a fully functional games league system. I have found a couple but these same to have died quietly a long time ago :-(

    I need to brush up on my PHP skills and actually learn the WordPress/Buddypress APIs if I were to think about writing my own… However, I thought I would ask here first.

    The requirements I need are:
    Elo support http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating_system,
    User “self management” (I.E. Challenge and report),
    Groups (guilds), 1v1, 2v2, etc matches (one league for each),
    Separate leagues for each game server/country,
    Complaint/dispute/proof management (Link to YouTube).

    There’s a few other minor requirements but there’s not real need to list them all ;-).

    I was wondering if there are any projects like this in development now?
    The site I am going to run this on (WoWGz.com) is a World of Warcraft social network but I would like to offer the Elo league system and incorporate it into BuddyPress (although I might have to look for a stand-alone package).

    If you can point me in the right direction or give any kind of suggestion, please let me know.

    @piofcube not that we are aware of. The best place to suggest/ask for either a WP and/or BP plugin like that would be with the developers of WOW to help promote and elevate the game. Btw, did you check out any of the plugins listed https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=warcraft&sort=

    @mercime thanks for the reply… Yeah I checked that list out but not quite what I wanted.

    I ended up going down the stand-alone route but I will be writing plugins for BuddyPress/WoW/Ladders as they will be very useful to myself and probs be of interest to others.

    I am also going to write WoW addons also and will have a look at some way to bridge the gap between the WoW API and BuddyPress.

    The ladder system has just been deployed at ladder.wowgz.com but there’s still lots of work to be done before any tournaments are held.
