everything goes blank

Hi!
I’m trying to install buddypress on my custom theme and anytime I activate the plugin everything goes blank!

I’m working on a local environment and the first time I installed the buddypress I got to the setup wizard. I did a straight forward installation and then everything went blank. I’ve deleted the plugin and tried to reinstall it but anytime I hit activate it again goes blank. A manual instillation causes everything to go blank as well.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Change to Twenty Ten or Twenty Eleven theme then activate BuddyPress then change to bp-default or your custom theme.

If that doesn’t work, it may be that you need to increase memory https://codex.buddypress.org/troubleshooting/blank-pages/
