Just found this video and wants to share it. There are some great interface approaches inside the video, maybe buddypress or theme designers could get some inspiration out of it.

There are quite a few interesting elements in the design and good ideas to take away, overall though it feels a little loose. I also find it a bit idealistic, I’d like to see some of those things work with real data.

Interesting redesign…

Love the simplicity of the design. Looks like they got a bit of inspiration from Apple.

Especially the big photos in the gallery, the wall, calendar (looks like iCal) and horizontal sliding effects (iPhone style) using ajax are nice.

I know that this topic is old… but I just watched that video again… its a great design! Does anyone would like to make a theme for buddypress in this style out of it?
Or does anyone know how to get round corners on the images and avatars?

superb GUI if the the facebook gonna migrate to this one it wud be superhit in future.
