Fatal error at step 4 (themes) in BP setup

I am using the Kaboodle Labzip theme. I installed the Kaboodle (child) theme first but I did not activate it and lastly I installed the woocommerce plugin and activated it. I have wordpress installed in a sub-directory and I did not do a manual install – I used fantastico. I am getting the following when trying to run through the installation wizard:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_themes() in /home/foo/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/admin/bp-core-update.php on line 519

Please help.

@obsidianmarketing based on what I’ve seen on theme’s author’s site, Kaboodle parent theme has support for BP, bbPress and WooCommerce. You should post inquiries about the theme with the theme author.

And therein lies the problem. If you’re going to use BuddyPress, do a manual installation as there have been hiccups with webhost scripts https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/before-installing/#system-and-server-requirements
