Hi

Cant start a forum in my groups. When creating a new thread i can create topic and content all that, but when i click on post i land on an empty white page saying Fatal error on top.

Its a new installation and my firts group.

If i go back to group i can see the new thread in the group forum but when i click it i land on the white fatal error page.

Fatal error: Call to undefined error bb_get_id_from_slug() in /storage…/buddypress/bp-forums/bp-forums-function.php on line 178

Any ideas what this could be? Is a slug of mine creating this? If so, whats the default?

Its a new installation and my firts group.

@rondena For new installations BP 1.6.4/WP 3.5.1, please follow the instructions posted at https://codex.buddypress.org/user/setting-up-a-new-installation/installing-group-and-sitewide-forums/ Make sure that Discussion Groups is disabled at Settings > BuddyPress > Components panel.

I have followed the steps and also tried doing it from start two times after your post. Still my site cant store the new thread in my group forum it seem. What can it be?

Can it be the slug? “grupper” are my slug of “groups”. Could it be that groups are after my own “medlem”?

My sitewide forum works fine…..

I have a similar problem.
Last vanilla WP / BuddyPress / bbPress.
Hostgator is a repository of the problem.
