    Hello,
being a European user where the new privacy directive GDPR is applied, I would like to know if it is possible to add a field to collect consent for the processing of data according to the privacy policy of my website and to include the url that leads to this last.

    Hi,

It will be better if you will check this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-gdpr/

    Thanks

hi, I installed the plugin and actually does not do what is required. The plugin indicated by you only provides a way to export personal data shared with the platform but does not provide me with a way to obtain a proof that the user has given consent to the processing of personal data. I should be able to add a checkbox to the registration form where the user is notified that the data is processed according to my privacy policy.

    Got that.

    Please try this plugin: https://buddypress.org/support/topic/terms-conditions-checkbox/

If it does not help you then please create an xprofile field and fill in the respective details like this :

    Title: Terms of Service
Description: By checking this box you agree with our Terms of Service (with a link on Terms of Service to the TOS page)

    Field type: checkboxes
Option: I agree ( default value: unchecked )

Visibility: just-me with option: enforce visibility

    Thanks

Your solution works but the user can modify the field in his profile settings after registration (the user should delete his account for delete the data processing).

You can go with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-admin-only-profile-fields/ to set the visibility to hidden/admin only.

    Thanks

    Hi,
I have wordpress 4.9.6 and that plugin seems to be not compatible with my wordpress version ( i can’t set the admin visibility)
