Filter for “Add friend” button

Simple task: I want to change the text of the Add Friend button. Looking at bp-friends-template.php, it’s not clear where I can tap in to filter the button link_text.
Ideas? Thanks!

There’s no easier way than doing a whole translation?
I figured there might be something like bp_add_friend_button(‘Add a friend’);
