First Name field is being replaced by Username upon registration…

    Does anyone know how a user’s first name field could be replaced by their username? For some reason when all of my user’s register, I never receive their first name. Instead, I see their username and last name.

    The issue is with the regular Buddypress profile fields, so I’m not sure what could be causing the issue.

    Haven’t heard about this issue before.
    – WP/BP versions?
    – did you switch back to bp-default theme and check if issue is corrected?
    – did you deactivate all plugins except BP and see if issue is corrected?
    – all other info about your installation is welcome.
