First paragraph/sentence of articles available to everyone, the rest for users

    I guess it’s called a paywall on some sites, but it’s like the Wall St Journal’s teaser where you can view a certain number of articles for free or see just the first few sentences of ones until you have to login.

    There was an episode of The Office (US) that highlighted this feature in an unfavorable light: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/11/13/the-office-makes-paywall_n_356608.html …though some site owners may like this “teaser” feature. If something like this available or would it be possible to create for Buddypress?

    Definitely not a BP issue.

    There should be a WP plugin available for this. Have you tried browsing through the plugin repository?
