sorry for double posting, Im quite confused with the forum and group layout.

Hi, is there anyway to have forum topic separated from the group?

Many users complained that it’s a hassle to submit forum topics even though I have put a notice for them to create a group first.

I personally think that conventional way of submitting forum topics is the best as well.

Why not let them choose the option whether to link the forum topic to any group or can be isolated topic?

I really hope this can be done.

Update: I see this error when tried to post new topic, even after closing the browser:

Sorry, there were no forum topics found.

Did you enable forums for that group? Go to Group > Admin > Enable forums.
