I have BuddyPress installed and just installed the forums following the instructions. The Forum navigation button on my site that goes to http://diabeticclub.com/forums/ doesn’t show any forums, just looks like my home page again.

I did create one forum called fitness. When I click on View it seems to point to http://diabeticclub.com/forums/forum/fitness/ but this page is blank as well.

Home page is http://diabeticclub.com.

Any ideas?

WordPress 3.3.1 (clean install, no upgrade)
bbpress 2.02

– Check database and see if seven tables for bbPress were automatically generated during the forums installatio process – https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/installing-group-and-sitewide-forums/3/#bp-forums-db

– Check the bb-config.php file created during the group forums installation process at root of your WP installation. DB information correct there?

– Check wp-admin menu BuddyPress > Pages = is the Forums page associated with “Forums”?

– Re-run wp-admin menu Settings > Permalinks and click Save.

Unfortunately I don’t have access to php MyAdmin. I had the site owner check the database and he says he doesn’t see the above tables or bb-config.php in in the WP root.

In BuddyPress the forums page is associated with forums.

What can I do to troubleshoot the installation?
