getting post count via user ID

Hi Guys

I have been asked to add buddy press post counts to my plug-in author-avatars.

“Is it possible to sort avatars by BBPRESS post counts and show BBPRESS post counts instead of WP post counts”

Is it possible to get this info? all I have is the wp-userID

so I need to get_post_count_for_user($user->id)

I use the get_usernumposts for worpress core

hi paul,

the function given by modemlooper doesn’t exist in WP…

Try this one: bbp_get_user_post_count( $user_id ); ?
