Group Activity Comment doesn’t update group’s last_activity

    Guys, I couldn’t find it anywhere so decided to post it – if I reply to an activity of a particular group it does not change
    the “Last Active” group time. Have a look here:
    http://switchstories.com/groups/ – “How To Find Motivation?” group – active 2 months ago but if you go in, you will see
    that there is a reply to a video activity called “Great video.” – its very recent. Why it then shows active 2 months ago?

    I have a similar situation with the other site – bbpress 1.2.5, wordpress 3.0.1 – activity reply does not update group last activity. Did you experience the same?

    nothing in the code to trigger on bp_activity_new_comment in a group context. i would file a trac ticket

    Thanks, rich. I thought it was fixed it in previous updates but it was something different regarding last_activity.
