10. No Core mods
11. No custom functions in bp-custom.php……

OK enough of the questions that really go further into things than need be.. I might as well just give people access to the site and let them find the answers themselves at this point.

To my point. I was going to install both group and sitewide forums. I installed both then changed my mind and decided to go with simple sitewide. Now the group forums will not uninstall. It says it does but if I go to another page and come back to it it once again has the option to uninstall and my forums link that went to the sitewide forums now goes to the group forums.

Forgive me if I sound a bit terse but I’m finding support on several issues and plugins associated with BP to be dismal at best and am extremely frustrated at this point since this all should be a very simple process. And if one more “support” link sends me to buddychimp I’m just going to scrap the whole thing.

@angrywookie There’s a final task for the group forums uninstall -> delete the bb-config.php file generated when group forums were installed. @mercime well that fixed that issue at least cosmetically after reinstalling the sitewide forum I now can’t get to it at all. Can’t make a menu item to get to it and one isn’t made.

Too many headaches… I’m thinking it’s garbage like this is why I gave up on BP the last time. Think I’m going to look for other options for the forum at least.

After 2 solid days of screwing with this I have now completely wiped my site out. There is now only WP and BP installed and the forum is STILL not going in,
