    Hi Guys

I updated my buddy press and wordpress mu trunk. And made all the changes with the themes foolder etc.

*I have now come across the following errors when i click on the groups listings:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_has_site_groups() in /home/gvineco/public_html/wp-content/bp-themes/buddypress-member/directories/groups/groups-loop.php on line 1

    and

*and here is the second problem:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_has_site_blogs() in /home/gvineco/public_html/wp-content/bp-themes/buddypress-member/directories/blogs/blogs-loop.php on line 1

What do i do to correct this? Im so lost and have been hacking away for a few days but cant get it right.

    Regards

    Stef

Make sure that bp is installed in a directory called /plugins/buddypress

Make sure that you are using the wpmu svn 2.7 branch http://svn.automattic.com/wordpress-mu/branches/2.7 not the wpmu trunk.

For some reason bp is not loading correctly. bp should be installed in the above directory and there should be other subdirs underneath that with all the components. Do you have this file in this path? /plugins/buddypress/bp-groups/bp-groups-templatetags.php

That is one of the files that is not loading.

    Hi Burtadsit

Wow, you are a real life saver! I managed to put the bp-templatetags.php in and it worked! So the groups page seems to be working.

Still struggling with the blogs directory, i basically just recopied the bp-blog folder again and the blogs were all showing in there letter groups BUT …lol…when i click onto the BLOGS tab, it takes me to the page with all of the blog listings.

*So it shows the first five blog listings, then when i click on the little tab that says “2” meaning page two…and then its says the following :

No blogs matched the current filter.

What do i do..lol.. almost there, i can almost taste the victory.

ps.stupid question: how do i download the wpmu via svn???

You are going to encounter lots of errors if bp isn\\\’t installed properly and you are not running the proper wpmu version. First thing is get the svn 2.7 branch of wpmu. This depends on the operating system you are developing on.

Start with this: https://buddypress.org/forums/topic.php?id=2145#post-11567 and this https://buddypress.org/forums/topic.php?id=1285

If you are on windows this is the client I use: http://tortoisesvn.net/

Other than not running the right version of wpmu, bp does not seem to be installed right. You shouldn\\\’t have to upload the php file I mentioned to get things working right. If you are running the trunk version of bp you need to get the latest wpmu the same way you did the bp trunk. Just a different url.

Neither bp nor wpmu seem to be installed correctly.

Thank you so much , i really appreciate all the help. This is a great project and everybody who contributes deserves more than a pat on the back!

I have uploaded the latest wpmu and the latest bp version. I think i tried to take short cuts in the beginning and so i ended up with this problem. it all seems smooth sailing from here, if i do encounter more problems with this i will just wait for the official releases of wpmu 2.7.1 and of the new bp.

Thanks once again, il definately keep u up to date with everything.

    Regards and thanks
