How to explain to the members the discrepancy between “Comments” and “Favorite” ?
They can comment to a blog post from wherever they want – the blog page itself or in the stream.But when they have got a link to a blog page and reading it or they have to come to read a blog at some later date they can still comment BUT they cannot favorite it as the item about the blog post may no longer be in the first page or lost somewhere in myriads of activity items, more so in a multisite set up where even filters will not help as there is no search within “activity stream”
Even so, it would be a hassle compared to an an easy Favorite button under the blog page itself. As an added disadvantage there is no favorite counter that increments both ways and shows who have favorited like Jetpack Like/Starred.
