How to force login screen before accessing site?

Hi,

I am very new to Buddypress and despite looking at a bunch of forums I cannot find out how to force users to login before they see the site?

Try searching for bp_core_redirect here in the forums. The topic has come up many times in the past. You just add your redirect function to your theme’s functions.php file, making sure you’ve hooked it to the init action

@jruffellsmith Something to consider though – if you send users directly to the wp-login screen before they can see any of the site, how are you going to provide an explanation on the nature of the site itself? You can customize the wp-login screen but it’s not really suited to the addition of anything more than a small amount of text.

The plugin I recommended will let you to block everything save for the page(s) you declare.
