How to move a navi menu to a sub menu regarding “Invite Anyone”

    Hello,

I introduced “Invite Anyone” plugin in order to implement invitation features with my website.

    https://srd.wordpress.org/plugins/invite-anyone/

As a default, there is “Send Invites” tab in parent navi menu of member profile pages, but I would like to have it moved to sub-menu under “Settings” tab.

Could anybody else can support me on this?
Any support would be highly appreciated!

    Wordpress version 4.6
    Buddypress version 2.7.4
    Invite Anyone Version 1.3.13

    Thanks,
    piyosuke

    Hi @piyosuke

    This isn’t easily done.

You will need to create a new sub menu item under Settings. bp_core_new_subnav_item() is the function to use. Next, the Invite Anyone plugin will likely refer directly to the Send Invites menu item so you will need to then find a work around for that because you need plugin content to be displayed under your new sub tab.

    Hi Henry,

    Thank you for your answer!
Honestly speaking, I expected an easier idea if any…Your answer is actually what I came up with first.

But thanks to your comment, I realized that there is no shortcut for this so will work on as you suggested.

    Best,
    piyosuke
