How to post code to user wall using SyntaxHighlighter Evolved

    I’m using a vanilla build of the WordPress Theme 2017, BuddyPress, and SyntaxHighlighter Evolved.

    I’ve searched the forums and have found a few postings about SyntaxHighlighter Evolved, but the last I saw was 2014.

    Currently, I’m trying to allow users to be able to post code from their wall in a format that is similiar to SyntaxHighlighter Evolved, however the code does not appear. Anything above the opening and closing php brackets appears, but not the code in between.

    Is there any quick fixes, alternate plugins, or advice that would possibly provide a solution.

    Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
