HTML Showing on Profile Page

  • praisehim

    Hello All,

    Here are my system stats:

    – WordPress 3.5.1
    – Buddypress 1.6.4
    – Huddle Themeforest WordPress Theme

Here are my currently installed plugins:
    – Akismet
    – BuddyPress 1.6.4
    – BuddyPress Media 2.6.7
    – BuddyPress Portfolio 1.0
    – Buddypress Xprofile Custom Fields Type

When I used the default BuddyPress theme, the HTML wasn’t showing, however, when I use the Huddle them, HTML shows up. I noticed on the original BuddyPress theme, you were able to click on the items that were entered through the form and it would search for uses who had the same item. I can see that the HTML showing is showing that.

How would I be able to stop that from happening. The Huddle theme is exactly what I’m looking for, and it is a BuddyPress and bbpress theme.

    Please advise.

    The live site is here:

Thank you for all your help!

@praisehim as Huddle is a premium theme, we no access to the theme files or how the template files were created. Please contact theme author for support which is provided for with your theme purchase.

@mercime if the author doesn’t respond, what should I do?

@praisehim Sorry to butt in but the simplest answer is to just not use that theme and use the default buddypress theme. The moderators here are well versed in the default theme and some other ones. Anytime you use themes or plugins that are not included with BP then you have to rely on that theme or plugins author for support. Don’t get me wrong their will be people that will try to help but it seems to go a lot smoother when they know the theme and these moderators know their stuff on here really well. Their good people!
