Installed Buddypress, but….

    I am new to WordPress, and am learning as I go. I have installed the plugin and went through the activation process. Now, when I go to my site, none of my other plugins show nor does my blog show. My site keeps sending me messages saying pages (members, forums, etc) have been added to the site. Am unable to access my dashboard to deactivate. Any advice?

    Rename the buddypress folder in wp-content/plugins/ to e.g. buddypress-xx

    Did you install a plugin like Demo Data Creator or BuddyPress Default Data? If not, then people are still able to log in despite the fact that you cannot – which is not likely.
