Hi Everyone,

I am trying to get the hang of BP, am new to this so just was hoping to get a little help on the following.

I want to set the site up to contain 3 customised blogs…

One for news, one for events, and one for jobs… each will have their own custom fields.

Registered users, depending on their permissions/user level will be able to post new articles/events/jobs.

I am a little clueless as to how to begin, so I was hoping somebody might be able to point me in the right direction?

Any ideas on this guys? Might have to bail on Buddypress

Yes, WordPress MU will do what you need without BuddyPress at all.
