Keep ID of activity update unique?

Hi,
Since the activity wall is not a custom post type, is it possible to keep the ID of activity update (in the mysql db) unique, compared to the post IDs ?
In other words; is it possible to keep the activity entry IDs and the post IDs unique?

Short answer: no.

ok thanks.. i guess the only way then is by creating a cpt and write each activity as a cpt entry. That way the id will stay unique… Any ideas are welcome.
