One thing that has struck me as very odd is that the admins of the site, normal WP admins, cannot administrate group forums without being a member of the actual forum.

So, please, make it possible for administrators to moderate all forums, without having to be a member of it!

I’m pretty sure this is already the way that BuddyPress works, with the exception that if you’re running multisite/network mode, only *super* admins have this ability.

It’s as Boone says, sadly in multisite mode only the super-admin can perform this function, might be better if it were possible to open that out to admins of the root blog BP is installed on.
