hi, i’m using wp multi subdir 3.5.1 and BP 1.7.
i have full translation of buddypress-dev-id.mo (my translation) but i rather confuse where i put this file in my installation. my Wp already in my ID language (indonesia).

where can i put this file ? should i rename the file into what ?

i have folder wp-content/languages/

the .mo file must be named buddypress-xx_XX.mo and should be in
wp-content/languages/buddypress-xx_XX.mo
xx_XX is the language prefix (use buddypress-id_ID.mo)

there’s no way just upload my file (import) the mo file into https://id.buddypress.org/

maybe you can also try to connect to i18n svn
https://i18n.trac.buddypress.org/browser?order=name

Install Tortoise and use same credentials as here to connect for upload.

Aside, the id_ID wasn’t updated since 1.5.4 on SVN. Perhaps try to contact the latest author @sofyand

@mercime, can you give some better/other advice please ?

i ain’t developer so this SVN is new to me. i translate the po file using poedit as i need for my site.

it’s ok, just waiting @sofyand reply. i wrote comments in his posts.
