Logged in as admin – can’t delete entries from sitewide activity

    Title says it all. We just upgraded to WP 3.0.1 and BP 1.2.6 (with a new theme) and it appears as if I lost the ability to delete things from the sitewide activity. Any thoughts or suggestions?

    Maybe you have an old BP table on your DB ? What versions from are you updating ?

    Old theme? Can you test if you have the option on bp-default? If you do, take a look at https://codex.buddypress.org/extending-buddypress/bp-default-theme-changelog/

    The theme appears to have been built from thematic 0.9.6.2 – i know there’s an upgrade available, but I can’t imagine what would have been hacked to remove that functionality from the activity stream….

    it is possible that your theme is refering to one of the 3 deprecated activity tables ?
    3 in the past, actually 1, with another name.

    Not sure – The activity stream does work….it’s just that I can’t delete things from it.

    I’m experiencing this same thing.

    Has anybody identified the reason for this?

    == I’m experiencing this same thing. ==

    Could very well have been caused by theme which needs to be updated to delete old template tags and/or add new ones.

    Actually, I tried switching to the default BP theme to see if it was a theme-specific issue, but the issue didn’t go away, which leads me to believe it is a Buddypress issue.
