I posted this elsewhere as a follow up to a previous question, but I think it should really have it’s own thread….

I’ve successfully added a ‘title’ field to the activity post form but am looking for pointers on how to make this new field a required field. I’ve tried all using typical jquery/javascript validation but everything gets overridden by the default BP javascript (I think from the global.js file).

Does anyone know how to do this?
