Media Library not displaying images after BP Update

    Im going to go ahead and assume it was because of the update(?) because I haven’t had this issue before but when trying to view my media library on the WordPress dashboard no images are showing (not even thumbnails), its just blank, even though they are viewable via FTP.

    I went through and deactivated every plugin and then reactivated one by one and found that Buddypress was causing the issue. Could this be a bug or is it something I can fix?

    That’s a bit strange, It’s not a known bug, I can’t replicate it. I’ve turn on debugging and see if there are any errors.

    Anyone got anything on this? It is clearly buddypress that is causing this problem, which means that if i ever want to do anything with the media library I have to disable buddypress, which is going to be a no from me.

    Do you get any errors in the debug log?

    Im assuming you mean debug log in the browser? If so i went to the media library and loaded up the console, its not reporting any errors or warnings though

    I changed WP_Debug to true but there is nothing coming up on the page

    I think you might get something if you install Query Monitor, it gives you a load of information about what queries are happening and any errors, try installing that and visiting your media library

    If that does not get anything then try Debug Bar, this will give you any JavaScript errors.

    Ok so oddly enough its working now, tbh im not sure what i did to fix it either :\
