When I upload a cover image I get an error message
But the picture is still in the folder wp-content\uploads\buddypress\members\1\cover-image
    Nevertheless, it is not displayed.

Is this true when uploading images in every browser, or is it limited to one browser?

What is the error message you are getting?

If you put the url for the image in the cover-image directory in your browser’s location bar, does it load, or is it corrupt, or maybe doesn’t load for some other reason?

I tested it in Firefox and Edge

Message:Es gab ein Problem beim Hochladen des Titelbildes. (There is a problem by uploading the cover)

The image loads in the browser. The image ins’t corrupt
