    Hi,

We can’t see members any more! It did work, but now it doesn’t. If logged in you can view and edit your own profile. “Everyone” can see the Members page with the three test profiles, but click on a member and no profile information is shown.

    TMRU Members

    BuddyPress Version 4.0.0
    Hosting: Siteground
Other themes (Twenty Twelve etc): Same – no profiles
Deactivating ALL other plugins: Same – no profiles
Completely reinstalling BuddyPress: Tried – didn’t work.

We’re a non-profit and would appreciate any help.

    Thanks

    Chris

It seems you have deactivated BuddyPress.
If you decide to reactivate it and if we need to be logged-in, please provide a user name and password.

It looks like something in your install is removing the main nav from profiles.
( The top-bar dropdown shows the nav okay )
The template parts load if you go directly to a ‘tab’, for example:
    https://www.tacomamountainrescue.org/members/admin/profile/

I suspect the culprit is some custom code, perhaps improperly setting a default component profile tab in your wp-config?

btw – deactivate the Events plugin until you get everything else solved.

Update. Your suggestion makes sense. It’s bizarre how it happened. In the end we brought in a Ffiver BP specialist who has fixed the issue (netflixtech). Thanks for your help.
