members pages not showing

    Hello,

    i have been banging my head over this all day, and i have been searching google most of the day and i can’t seem to find anything

    none of the members pages are showing up, and i can edit my profile within buddypress

    if you see this link, it does not bring up that member’s profile, its not a permalink issue anymore, as i got that all fixed and working.

    i hope someone can help me with this problem

    hi @rukiax

    have you tried to activate another theme ? You’re actually using bp-default, and BP 2.x doesn’t use it by default.

    You have probably missed a setting somewhere, because the profile link is blank:
    http://daklub.tk/members/rukia/
    When going to
    http://daklub.tk/members/
    wich normally shows the members directory, we go to the forum (accordingly your breadcrumb)

    In any case, you have to create a page called members, for internal purpose only. If this page doesn’t exist you can’t see memebers directory and profiles correctly.

    I suggest you to deactivate BP & bbPress, than activate Twenty Fourteen, redo your BP settings and permalinks and finally reactivate bbPress and set it as site wide forum.

    Hiya, I just did all that, deactivate all plugins and started again, using BP 2.0.1, then turned on bbpress 2.5.4, the perma links are set, I have no idea why it’s still not working, and I have the twentyfourteen theme active

    @rukiax make sure that the Pages are assigned in admin menu Settings > BuddyPress > Pages because it doesn’t seem like it https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/configure-components/

    Strange. Did you by any chance give WordPress its own directory? Because BP won’t work with that kind of installation.

    It’s installed by a virtual site in apache, and it’s at the root folder of that site so the path to the root on my server is /var/www/da_klub/public_html, could that be the problem?
