Can anyone share if they are using legacy Group forums and successfully migrated over to bbPress 2.2.4 using this guide?

It’s not working well for me as the Forum listing shows only the Group forums instead of the Forum discussion listing despite me editing the Forums page and putting
[bbp-forum-index] in it
Creating a new page with [bbp-forum-index] also doesn’t give the desired result.
I have disabled all plugins but bbPress and Buddypress, reverted to the default Buddypress theme and I still get the problem.

Gee, am I the only one with this problem?

I tried resetting the bbPress forums from Tools/Forums to try from scratch and it’s worse – lost all the Group forum links.
Anyone can help? Why am I seeing a Forums page like this instead of the discussion list?

No it doesn’t work (I just restored the database from backup). Instead of showing a list of discussion threads (sorted by freshness) it shows Group forums as the root (which people can post in) and all the group forums.
[bbp-forum-index] in a new page also gets the same result
Have disabled all plugins but bbPress and Buddypress to no avail. bbPress 2.3 update doesn’t help.
