More Avatar Issues

Ok, so now when I choose to edit my avatar, I can successfully crop the image, and then I click “Crop Image”, it says “Your new avatar was uploaded successfully!”
However, the avatar has not been changed on my profile? How can I resolve this? Thanks.

i added php.ini to root directory

php_flag
register_globals off
register_globals = 0
memory_limit = 64M

and that solves the problem

Just done this, but it made no change. Is there anything else I can do?
