Move Facebook Login button

    @yetza

    I’m new to all this so please bear with me.

    I’m helping to build a social networking site with BuddyPress. One of the requirements is that it has to have a “login with Facebook” option (to the new social network, not WP). I have already done this with the JS SDK. My problem is that this gives me a generic button on my website’s footer. I don’t want it there and I can’t seem to figure out how to move it. There was already a placeholder button added with WordPress tools. I would like to either: move the new login button to where the old one is and customize it, or, transfer the functionality of the new button to the old one. As an added note, when I open the editor to move things around, the button doesn’t show up as a customizable item. I’m using the X Child theme, if that has any importance.

    Thank you so much in advance.

    I’m using WordPress version 4.5.3, BuddyPress version 2.5.3. I can’t provide a link to the site because it’s not live yet.
