    Hello Everyone,

I am trying to find a way to have buddypress work with my current theme. When I activate the plugin it says the theme isn’t for plugin. I want it so that I can have my normal tech blog with categories and everything along with the buddypress integration. Is there a way I can do that like for the volkswagen tdi challenge as mentioned on the home page of this page? Also does anyone know of some free awesome wp themes? Please let me know.

    Thank You

    Awesome wp themes? Try googling.

Also, converting a normal wp theme to a bp theme isn’t that easy, it adds a few folders and a lot of extra template files. And yes, if you know how to make bp/wp themes, you can design above average and do some coding; you could make a site like tdi volkswagen.

Today Andy will release the newest buddypress parent theme, you might wanna check that out too.

    Hello Everyone,

Well I see what you are saying but what I want to know is HOW to do that. How to have all the cool widgets that show members, the link for signing up and everything. The problem is that I have a good theme, but I cant have buddypress work with it. How do I do that? Please let me know.

    Thank You
