Newb Question : How do I add a link on the profile page?

    My Site is http://outwire.net/

    I’m using the latest wordpress/buddypress with the following mods:

    bbpress
    BuddyPress Activity Plus
    BuddyPress MyMood
    BuddyPress Wall

    Ok, I’m also using a non related chat app called cometchat, I’m trying to integrate the two a little better. I want to do this: http://www.cometchat.com/documentation/developers-api/javascript-api/chatwith/

    It’s pretty straight forward, instead of a link I want a button that matches the other contact buttons. I want to add it after the “Public Message” “Private Message” buttons on the main profile page but I can’t for the life of me find correct file to edit. Can someone smart point me in the correct direction? Here is a direct link to a user profile to see what I mean…

    I’ve been using CometChat for a while. Their team is very helpful. You should create a support ticket and I bet they will help you out.

    I was thinking about that, but I have already bugged them about 2 other issues I had so perhaps I will wait a few weeks before bugging them again. =P

    @intristin you can either
    a) copy over member-header.php from second link following this to server wp-content/themes/your-theme-name/buddypress/members/single/ folder and create the button after this line or
    b) ask chat devs re what to hook into bp_member_header_actions
