Newbie needs help with the group avatar problem

    I have searched and read and learned a lot, but still am too new to crack this.

    SO – images are loading into the image library just fine when I look in the back end, but from the front end, after choosing a pic from my hard drive the cropping stage is blank and I can go no further.

    i solved the lack of member avatars all by myself (my solution = gravatars work but BP avatars don’t) but would dearly love to crack this one to make my BP site just fab.

    Where do I find my BP version number?? I downloaded BP about 3 days ago so I guess it is most recent.
